Driving Measurable Sustainability
Our Approach to Sustainability
Vision 2030 ESG Strategy
Our strategy is built around four pillars that span the full scope of our impact: the products we make, the way we operate, the suppliers we work with, and the people and governance structures that hold it all together.
These pillars are not standalone workstreams — they are interconnected, and progress in one reinforces progress in the others. Underpinning them are five operating principles that define how we work.
Sustainability Report 2025
Our 2025 Sustainability Report marks a significant step forward. Going beyond our previous reporting to offer a more complete, transparent picture of how we operate and where we stand on our ESG commitments.
This year’s report introduces broader disclosures across our environmental impact, social performance, and governance practices. We’ve deepened our data coverage, added new metrics, and provided greater context around the progress on our sustainability journey.
To further validate our commitments, the report has been independently assured by SGS under the AA1000 Assurance Standard v3 (Type 2, Moderate Assurance).

Sustainability performance KPIs — including GHG emissions reduction, zero waste to landfill, and safety metrics — are linked to executive and site-level remuneration. This ensures direct leadership accountability for sustainability outcomes and reinforces our commitment to delivering on our Vision 2030 goals.
The Filtrona Sustainability Report 2025 has been independently assured by SGS under the AA1000 Assurance Standard v3 (Type 2, Moderate Assurance), providing independent verification of selected sustainability performance indicators and the integrity of our reporting processes.
Filtrona holds an EcoVadis Gold rating, placing us in the top 5% of companies assessed globally on sustainability performance. EcoVadis is one of the world’s most widely used third-party sustainability rating platforms, evaluating companies across Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
Our score of 81 out of 100, published January 2026, reflects both the strength of our sustainability management systems and our performance across all four themes.
