Singapore, 12 May 2026 –As global expectations around ESG shift from ambition to accountability, Filtrona – a global market leader in the design, testing and manufacture of specialty filter solutions –today announced the release of its latest Sustainability Report, titled “Advancing Sustainable Performance”, covering FY2025 performance. The report marks a decisive turning point in the company’s sustainability journey, demonstrating how ESG commitments are being translated into measurable, embedded performance across its global operations.
“2025 marks an important step forward for Filtrona as we move from setting ambition to delivering measurable impact”, said Robert Pye, CEO of Filtrona. “Our progress this year reflects disciplined execution across the business, from strengthening responsible sourcing, governance, and workforce capability, to embedding ESG into how we operate every day. While the sustainability transition is complex and ongoing, we remain focused on ensuring it creates long-term value for our customers, our people, and the communities we are part of”.
In a year defined by delivery, Filtrona achieved a 51% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, in line with its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-validated targets. The company also reached zero waste to landfill across all sites (excluding regulated hazardous waste streams where applicable), reinforcing its commitment to operational circularity. Today, 24% of Filtrona’s product portfolio is derived from sustainable or plastic-free solutions, while 88% of wood-based materials are sourced from certified or controlled sources, including FSC and PEFC standards.
The company continued to advance its commitment to people and capability development, reporting 29% female representation in leadership and management roles, alongside an average of 36 training hours per employee annually. Reinforcing its commitment to ethics and compliance, 95% of employees completed mandatory training, supporting a consistent global standard of governance and accountability.
Importantly, the company reported no substantiated incidents of corruption, discrimination, or human rights violations during the reporting period, based on internal monitoring and investigation procedures. Responsible sourcing practices were further strengthened through a risk-based due diligence approach applied across key suppliers.
Filtrona’s progress has also been recognised externally, reflecting its strong sustainability performance and external recognition within the industry. In 2025, the company maintained SBTi validation of its emissions reduction targets, achieved EcoVadis Gold status (placing it in the top 5% globally), and received a B rating from CDP across Climate, Forests, and Water Security disclosures. Additional milestones included ISO14068-1 carbon neutrality certification at its Surabaya site, alongside regional recognition for excellence in healthcare, workplace safety, and responsible employment.
Reflecting on the year, Filtrona leadership emphasised that 2025 marks a clear turning point, where sustainability is no longer defined by ambition alone, but by disciplined execution and measurable impact across environmental, social, and governance priorities.
