Empowering Underserved Communities in India

Through focused initiatives in education, infrastructure, healthcare, and vocational training, Filtrona collaborated with the India Rotary Club to positively impact over 2,000 residents. Significant improvements were made to enhance the school’s learning environments and facilities. Under the “Girls-on-Wheels” programme, Filtrona donated 125 bicycles to promote education among young girls by making it easier for them to get to school. To boost employment opportunities, more than 300 unemployed youth were given skills training to help them get the qualifications needed to secure stable jobs. In the healthcare area, 1,000 families received complimentary medical screening for breast cancer and Type 1 diabetes.
