Responsibilities
- Responsible for the performance of the assigned area, ensuring that the goals of the area under their supervision are met in terms of quality, quantity, and deadlines.
- Plans the staffing of the teams in their area according to the weekly production plan. Monitors the availability of team members, reviews absences, holidays, and sick days regularly, and plans human resources accordingly. Ensures the required resources for fulfilling the weekly plan and checks the number of shifts.
- Defines the training needs for employees in their area, plans the training sessions, and coordinates them with the employees. Provides professional support for the training and follows up on its implementation.
- Ensures the continuous improvement of employee performance in their area, through efficient work organization, optimal resource allocation, motivation of employees, and leading by example.
- Monitors machine data daily and enforces the daily data recording on production machines. Supervises the use of information boards and ensures regular checks. Oversees visualization efforts.
- Holds daily meetings with the team leader, senior setter, and changeover team leader of the assigned area. Reviews and sets their priorities daily, takes action to ensure their achievement.
- Ensures that the 5S standards are met in the operational area, taking full responsibility for the cleanliness and orderliness of the area. Requires and checks regular cleaning.
- Supports the work of the production manager.
- Encourages and supports continuous improvement activities within the group.
- Provides data reporting to the management in compliance with legal requirements and internal regulations and procedures.
- Ensures adherence to and enforcement of occupational health and safety, fire safety, security, and hygiene regulations, including the use of prescribed personal protective equipment.
